Marine and Leisure
Eurovinil Survitec Group began producing life-saving equipment in 1977 when the first liferaft for the Italian recreational market was designed; then, in 1984 Eurovinil started the production of professional liferafts approved by the Italian Ministry of the Merchant Navy.
Later on, the range was extended with the production of specific models manufactured in compliance with the regulations of the different European and extra-European countries, both as far as the leisure and the professional models.
At present, our range of life-saving equipment includes:
- Self-inflating life-saving equipment both for the professional and the leisure sector
- Recreational Liferafts
- Professional Liferafts: S.O.L.A.S. and Fishing rafts for the National Navigation
Recreational Liferafts
Nowadays, the range of leisure rafts includes, among others, models that are approved in Italy, France, Spain, Greece, the United States, etc. as well as other models complying with the requirements of the pleasure boaters of those countries, where there is no national leisure regulation in force.
Last approval we got concerns the rafts manufactured in compliance with the ISO 9650 regulation, issued in March 2005, first and sole guidance at an international level for the leisure specifications. The ISO 9650 standard will be the future reference for a European common leisure regulation, that should merge in the next future all the different national leisure provisions.
