Logistic systems

The range of the logistic system division includes:

field tents with inflatable structure, hangars, etc…
military articles, special boats, ultralight liferafts, etc…
a series of industrial and technical articles (splitting cushions for marble blocks quarrying, cases for fluid storage, lifting pneumatic bags, etc.)

Eurovinil has been manufacturing inflatable tents since 1985.
This tested technology is largely used in tents for military application and for the civil protection and it’s a candidate technology for new programs in different countries, in particular for field hospitals and for mass decontamination.

Each tent is inflated to the full working pressure by using a portable electrical air blower. Once inflated the tent supporting structure is completely airtight, therefore there is no need for a continuously running compressor.

Inflatable tents are suitable for a variety of application such as field hospitals, troops lodgings, warehousing and maintenance hangars and have been successfully tested on field deployments in:

Somalia: 1993;
Mozambique: 1996;
Bosnia, Kosovo and former Yugoslavia: since 1992 still in progress;
Iran and Algeria earthquake: 2003;
Far east Tsunami relief operations: 2004;
Afghanistan and Iraq: still in progress;
Earthquake in Pakistan;
Lebanon: still in progress;

In 2005 Eurovinil created a field hospital for MSF Doctors Without Borders which has been used during the emergency for the earthquake in Pakistan with extremely efficient operating results.
